| The first three are before shots with
just the slab in place. The shadow is me.

The first thing to do is to install flashing on the soffit.
In this case 4" goes under the existing gutter and 7"
hangs over to be later fastened to the pan roof panels.
Look closely and you will also see the receiver under
the flashing this will accept the pans. |

The next step is to build the main wall.
It works like a wood stud wall in that
it was build on the ground and raised
into position. Screwed into the
concrete with Tapcon style screws. |

Then the side walls. And doorway.
These are stick build in place due
the the roof pitch. Each piece is measured in place to get the
correct angles. |
|

Here some roof pans are in place. These lock together to form a leak
proof seal. Three special screws on the ends and two at the
receiver. All caulked.
|

Here you can see how the flashing is
applied to the pans. A block of
Styrofoam is pressed in under the flashing into the pan to stop
intruders like snakes, bugs etc.
One screw through the flashing into the pans caulked. This is all
done as you go because once its done you can't get there again. |

You can see how the pans fit into the receiver here.
