Flood Control After living in Florida for a couple of years and watching the rain come dangerously close to entering our new home through the front door I decided to look into a way of protecting our valued possessions. Doing some searching on the internet I found some solutions to the problem. The new problem was that these were way out of my price range. So I decided to make and offer an inexpensive alternative to these designs. Please look over the pictures and you be the judge of how many you will want or should I say need. Further product information is below the pictures.

I build these Flood control gates from cabinet grade plywood 3/4" thick. They come primed and painted in your choice of colors. I can color match your front door if a sample of the paint is sent or a color code from Sherwin Williams, or any other quality paint manufacturer. Color matching is not guaranteed. The gasket material is of very high quality all weather grade, UV, gas and oil resistant EPDM industrial high-strength rubber for many years of service. All fasteners and screws are High grade Stainless Steel. Quick installation consists of 4 screws (included). Instructions are shipped with each Flood Control gate. Requirements:
Brick molding is standard molding on exterior doors. If your molding looks different it may still be OK as long as there is a flat area for the gasket to seal on. If you are unsure. Take a picture and email it to me. I will be able to tell.
Measuring Instructions: Measure at points A, B, and C where the molding meets the wall, and give me the smallest of the three measurements. NOTE: C is 24" up from the bottom. Please be careful with your measurements as this is how the unit or units will be made. If you need help measuring ask for it from a friend neighbor. No returns can be offered due to incorrect measurements. Your Brick Molding flood control door will come with everything required to install it. Screws and instructions will be included. Order yours today for peace of mind tomorrow. Go to order blank. |
